Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time Production Planner & Logistics Manager to assist in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of planning production schedules, managing shipping schedules and ensuring on-time delivery. This includes acting as a bridge between the sales team, the factory and logistics to ensure customer orders are processed and delivered. The applicant must also have a positive attitude and have the ability to work cohesively with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
- Create and manage production timelines based on seasonal calendars and sales
- Coordinate with factories and suppliers to ensure timely sampling, material delivery, and production starts
- Monitor production status and proactively resolve delays or issues
Logistics & Coordination:
- Organize domestic and international shipments; manage freight booking, tracking, and customs documentation
- Liaise with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless delivery and inventory receipt
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, lead times, and delivery performance
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including EDI processing
Cross-functional Support:
- Work closely with sales, e-commerce, and merchandising teams to prioritize shipments for key accounts and launches
- Update internal systems with SKU data, shipping info, and tracking numbers
- Prepare reports on production status, shipping schedules, and vendor performance metrics
Requirements:
- 5 years minimum of experience in production planning, logistics, or supply chain (footwear or fashion preferred)
- Must be able to work in the office Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and production/supply chain software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Familiarity with international shipping terms and customs regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
