A leader in Construction, is looking for self-motivated, dependable and experienced candidates to immediately fill the following full-time position.
Heavy Equipment Operators needed! Looking for team members interested in joining a high impact nationwide construction company. This position is responsible for operating heavy earth-moving equipment in demolition, shoring and excavation, removal and placement of earth materials and grading surfaces with detail to wet and dry underground utilities.
Heavy Equipment Operator:
- Must be proficient in various aspects of civil work.
- Understand and have the ability to read scopes of work, plans and specifications and soils reports while applying their effects on the work being conducted.
- Reviews drawings,
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
- Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
- Advise the project manager of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
- Participate in routine maintenance
- Practice workplace safety
- Fuel equipment as required
- Ability to read and write to record daily records
- Work outside in weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat
- Willing to travel frequently
- Interprets information on grade stakes
Purpose of the Position
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment will include Dump trucks, backhoe, excavators, front-end loaders, compactors, skid steers and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects.
Candidates Additional Required Qualifications:
- Verbal and writing skills (English language).
- 5 years minimum experience in construction and safety practices, Heavy equipment operating.
- Computer experience, including the ability to e-mail reports, upload and download pictures and information.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, Class A preferred.
- Background checks and drug tests required.
Compensation: Compensation will be proportionate to experience

Location: Ontario, CA & Surrounding Area (Home office in Rancho Cucamonga, CA).
