Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator, where you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You will work with hand and power tools such as drills and rivet guns to contribute to our assembly and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools, including drills and rivet guns, for assembly tasks.
- Select and measure appropriate materials for various projects using tape measures and calipers.
- Perform mechanical assembly and riveting tasks as per blueprints.
- Handle sheet metal and engage in crating and construction activities.
- Operate punch presses and other machinery for production purposes.
- Follow and execute work orders efficiently.
- Ensure quality and precision in all assembly and manufacturing tasks.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with assembly, mechanical tools, and sheet metal.
- Familiarity with warehouse and manufacturing environments.
- Comfortable standing and walking for the entire shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in sheet metal, construction, or similar fields.
- Knowledge of material handling and machine operation.
- Ability to work with cutting tools and perform mechanical assembly.

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing warehouse that focuses on sheet metal production. The environment is not climate-controlled and involves loud machinery. Expect to stand on a cement floor for the majority of your shift, with the possibility of working outside depending on job requirements.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
