- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures as directed by management or client representatives.
- CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
