Small Part Manufacturing Technician (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Glendora, CA 91741
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire through Medix
Schedule: Full-Time with OT available, 1st or 2nd shift
Job Overview
Medix is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate to support product development and production for a leading medical device company in Glendora, CA. This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing lab, primarily focused on assembling and packaging small medical device products.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands-on work, including the building, inspection, and packaging medical devices.
Work with precision tools like microscopes and forceps to assemble small parts.
Set up and operate machinery.
Process batches in compliance with ISO 13485/FDA regulations.
Perform routine product inspection and testing.
Verify packing and labeling information (part number, lot number, expiration date) for accuracy.
Maintain detailed documentation and review Batch Product Records for accuracy.
Must-Have Skills/Qualifications
1+ years of experience using small hand tools under a microscope.
Experience working in a Clean Room environment.
Basic understanding of GMP regulations.
Strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality work.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Soldering experience is a big plus!
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
