JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Cloud Architect
to lead the design, configuration, customization, and ongoing optimization of D365 F&O solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications. Design, configure, and customize D365 F&O modules to meet business needs and industry best practices. Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support to development teams, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system integration challenges to ensure seamless connectivity across internal and external platforms. Continuously optimize system performance, scalability, and usability across D365 F&O environments. Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, security standards, and governance models for D365 F&O implementations. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and validation, including regression testing during platform updates and upgrades. Support batch processing, data migrations, and integrations using DMF and Data Lake. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, integrations, and operational procedures. Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to end users and internal IT teams.
Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including Finance and Supply Chain modules: o Accounts Payable (AP) o Accounts Receivable (AR) o Credit and Collections o Trade Agreements o Cost Management o General Ledger (GL) o Inventory Management o Product Information Management (PIM) o Sales & Marketing o Master Planning Strong expertise in X++, Power Platform, Power Automate, and Lifecycle Services (LCS). Proven experience with system integrations using APIs, OData, middleware platforms, and Data Lake. Solid understanding of Business Process Analysis and solution design. Strong knowledge of SQL, batch processing, extensions, and DMF. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have Experience working on MLCC (Michigan Liquor Control Commission) projects or Liquor Control systems for other controlled states.
Certifications Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification(s) (Finance, Supply Chain, or related)
