Enterprise Architect
The Enterprise Architect (EA) will design and maintain enterprise architecture to align business and technology strategies, ensuring compliance with federal standards and best practices. This role supports multiple large-scale projects, future planning, and continuous improvement of architecture frameworks.
Salary in the 150-160K range plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise, segment, and solution architectures across all layers (business, data, application, technology). - Ensure alignment with Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), reference models (PRM, BRM, DRM, TRM, SRM), and agency-specific models. - Support IT category management, software lifecycle management (Megabyte Act), and EA governance processes. - Create and maintain architecture documentation, tools, and training for transformation initiatives. - Conduct alternatives analysis and integrate EA with strategic planning, budgeting, investment reviews, and human capital planning. - Review systems during key lifecycle stages and provide recommendations for compliance and optimization. - Lead infrastructure planning, monitor performance, and suggest improvements. - Stay current on federal architecture standards and emerging technologies.
Federal Compliance Knowledge (candidates should have working knowledge of the following federal laws, regulations and processes and how they affect agency enterprise architecture):

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree - 10+ years related experience with 5 or more years in Enterprise Architecture - Federal government experience - Expertise in EA frameworks (FEAF), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and solution design. - Ability to design architecture integrating network, storage, platform, cloud, database, software, and security technologies. - Enterprise Architecture (EA) certification a plus.
