Job Title: React Native Developer
Location: Ashburn, VA
(On-Site) Job Type: Long-Term Contract Rate: $60-$65/hr. on W2 // (NO C2C)
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior-level React Native Developer to join our dynamic development team in Ashburn, VA. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mobile development, particularly with the React Native framework, and will play a critical role in designing and implementing high-quality mobile applications.
Job Responsibilities Design and develop engaging, intuitive, and reusable React Native components Use modern software engineering tools including VS Code, GitLab, and Atlassian Suites for ticketing and documentation, development, and testing software Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews in conjunction with the Technical Lead, and document the design according to the Governments system lifecycle methodology Understand how to interface with native code on Android and iOS from React Native Code unit tests and end-to-end tests using the framework of choice of the team Participate in daily scrums and code reviews Mentor junior developers in React Native Keep up to date with React Native technology updates and trends
Required Skills and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with
9+ years of technical experience Minimum of
6 years of experience in mobile development , with at least
4 years in React Native Proven mobile development experience using: React Native Native iOS, Android Some Detox experience Proficient in
TypeScript and JavaScript Constructing and debugging
CI/CD build pipelines for mobile targets Strong experience with
Redux, Flux, or other state management libraries Understanding how
REST APIs
work Understanding of
Microservice Architecture Unit test and end-to-end test development
Desired Skills and Experience Experience using
RTK Query
is a plus Understanding how
containerization and orchestration tools
work Knowledge of other mobile development frameworks or platforms Experience working on an
Agile team
such as Scrum Masters degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
