About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior IT Recruiter to focus exclusively on recruiting delivery for several of Houston’s leading enterprise clients. This is a pure recruiting role - no sales, no business development. You will partner closely with account managers and client hiring teams to fill critical technical positions while providing a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level IT positions (intake → sourcing → screening → submission → interview coordination → offer close).
- Work directly with hiring managers to understand technical skill sets, role requirements, and team needs.
- Build strong sourcing pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and other tools.
- Conduct technical and behavioral screens to assess fit.
- Craft clear, concise candidate write-ups for client review.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
- Provide market insights, compensation trends, and competitive intel to internal teams and clients.
- Maintain accurate records and workflow in ATS systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT recruiting (agency preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of technical roles across software, cloud, infrastructure, security, and data.
- Excellent candidate engagement skills with a track record of high fill rates.
- Ability to manage a high volume of reqs while maintaining high-quality submissions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms.
Preferred
- Experience supporting large Houston clients (energy, healthcare, financial, or enterprise IT).
- Established network of IT professionals in the Houston market.
