A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Planner to support daily operations by coordinating production schedules, material flow, and inventory accuracy. This role works cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and delivered on time.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and maintain production schedules aligned with capacity, demand, and material availability
- Coordinate raw material planning and finished goods movement across manufacturing and distribution operations
- Monitor inventory levels and support cycle count activities to maintain accurate records
- Adjust schedules as needed to respond to equipment downtime, supply constraints, or shifting priorities
- Maintain accurate production data, routings, and bills of materials within planning systems
- Communicate production plans and updates to operations, logistics, and customer-facing teams
- Support short- and mid-term planning through forecasting and capacity reviews
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field — or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing production setting
- Clear communicator who collaborates well across departments
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
