Position Summary As a Business Systems Analyst at Suffolk, you’ll be at the forefront of our construction applications, including Procore, Primavera P6, Autodesk, and other cutting‑edge tools. You’ll collaborate closely with our business users, providing top‑notch support and implementing innovative solutions to drive our projects forward.
Responsibilities
Be the go‑to expert for day‑to‑day support and troubleshooting within our Project Management, Field Management, and Operations Support teams.
Play a key role in evaluating and implementing new construction solutions, ensuring they align with Suffolk’s cybersecurity, architecture review, and change management processes.
Provide both functional and technical support to the Construction Operations area, helping to analyze, design, develop, and implement business processes and applications.
Collaborate with IT staff and internal business partners on new product reviews, tests, and pilots, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Troubleshoot processes and systems issues, documenting system functions and processes to maintain clarity and efficiency.
Collect and analyze business requirements for multifunctional projects, delivering the best solutions to meet our business needs.
Identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices, and integration issues, and work with the team to evaluate and implement alternative solutions.
Develop strong business relationships and integrate activities with other IT colleagues to ensure successful project implementation and support.
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with internal business partners and IT colleagues, meeting and exceeding customer service expectations.
Ensure minimal production issues post‑implementation by developing and executing comprehensive testing plans.
Develop and support ongoing user training to ensure all functional users fully understand and leverage application capabilities.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in information technology, Construction Management, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
At least 2 years of professional experience working with and supporting construction applications including but not limited to Procore, Primavera P6 and Autodesk.
Project management experience is a plus.
A background in the construction industry is highly desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self‑motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, talk or hear, perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
