Position Overview

The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at MetroHealth System and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine seeks full‑time academic faculty members at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with a focus on solid tumor oncology. Primary clinical interest in breast, lung, or gastrointestinal cancer is preferred. Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills and have a strong interest in teaching, research, and active collaboration in multidisciplinary patient care. Responsibilities

All faculty provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, longitudinal patient care, teaching and mentoring of internal medicine residents, hematology/oncology fellows, and medical students. Faculty participate in and lead clinical trials, with support for investigator‑initiated studies, cooperative group trials, and translational research at MetroHealth and through our affiliation with the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute‑designated consortium. Faculty are encouraged to assume leadership roles within the Cancer Center and across our growing oncology programs. Qualifications

All qualified applicants hold an MD or DO degree. All have completed a fellowship in adult hematology and/or oncology and are board certified or board eligible in hematology and/or oncology. Appointment will be to the medical faculty of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Final rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
