Position Assistant Medical Director of Anesthesiology - Sacramento Valley ($650,000)

Compensation
$575,000 annually for full-time services
Assistant Medical Director Stipend $50,000
Core faculty Stipend $25,000
Up to $3,000 annually for CME
10 weeks paid time off

Practice Environment
The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 12 physicians and over 30 independent-practice CRNAs providing services for up to 16 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, a hospital ambulatory surgery center, and a new venture with a local orthopedics surgery center.
The annual anesthesia case volume is approximately 14,300 cases, consisting of ~ 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology.
OB services with 3,000 births annually
Obstetrics details
Multi-provider anesthesia team with an average of 250-300 births per month, averaging 4 epidurals and 3 c-sections per day.
2 Obstetric operating rooms and 8 labor rooms in a recently renovated pavilion
