Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Solving hiring challenges across Biomanufacturing BioTalent is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to appoint an experienced

EHR Portfolio Manager . This high‑impact role will oversee the day‑to‑day coordination and long‑term strategic development of the organization’s EHR IT portfolio.

Reporting into the Senior Director of the IT PMO, the EHR Portfolio Manager will drive governance, standardization, and strategic alignment across all EHR teams, ensuring projects, programs, and investments support enterprise‑wide priorities.

This position serves as the key liaison between EHR leadership and the IT PMO, guiding mature portfolio practices and supporting the development of a multi‑year EHR Roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and evolve the 3–5‑year EHR Roadmap and associated strategic alignment tools.

Lead annual roadmap planning sessions with EHR directors and executive stakeholders.

Continuously improve roadmap processes and disseminate strategic information across user groups and leadership teams.

Track and report on project progress, dependencies, milestones, costs, and resource allocation.

Develop business cases and financial assessments to support executive decision‑making.

Prepare leadership‑ready summaries, presentations, and data visualizations.

Ensure alignment with IT PMO standards, governance workflows, and PPM tools (Planview, ServiceNow).

Conduct project intake, prioritization, and scoring to evaluate portfolio impact.

Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting to relevant stakeholder groups.

Governance & Cross‑Functional Leadership

Facilitate key governance committees and maintain charters, documentation, and processes.

Support data governance and knowledge management initiatives across EHR functions.

Lead weekly EHR leadership forums and strengthen product management practices.

Mentor project managers and emerging PMs in PMO standards, methodologies, and tool usage.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of project/portfolio experience covering resource planning, prioritization, reporting, and budgeting.

Proven track record leading IT and cross‑functional initiatives (clinical, business, vendor stakeholders).

Strong background in portfolio governance and enterprise project reporting.

Experience with project and portfolio management software; familiarity with Epic, ServiceNow, or Planview strongly preferred.

Skills

Excellent communication and executive‑level presentation abilities.

Skilled in fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.

Deep knowledge of project management, portfolio governance, and Agile methodologies.

Strong financial acumen in project and portfolio planning.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with complex data.
