Join our Women’s Health team at our Faribault & Owatonna Clinics with delivery services at Owatonna Hospital. Our providers deliver exceptional, whole-person care for women in a diverse regional community setting. Our services include dedicated multi-specialty medical staff, obstetrical care, newborn care, and gynecology.
Responsibilities
Provides direct care for obstetrics and gynecology patients which may include specializing in areas of general medicine, the reproductive system, pregnancy and childbirth both inpatient and outpatient.
Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.
May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
Requirements
MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
BE/BC with ABMS or AOA within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire
Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
BLS Tier 3 - required within 6 months of hire

Nursing support for triage, prescription refills, initial OB intakes, in-basket help
Pap hub for pap result management and communication for entire Allina system
After-hours answering service
Abbott Northwestern (Level IV NICU) and Mercy and United Hospitals (Level III NICUs) and six regional hospitals
Clinical and surgical mentorship and collaboration with over 80+ OB/GYN providers across the system
Work-life balance & manageable call coverage
Physical Demands Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently.
