Description/Responsibilities
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our Esophageal Diseases Section. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care, education, and research focused on benign esophageal disorders (GERD, dysmotility, eosinophilic esophagitis, other benign conditions). The new faculty will not be performing endoscopic therapy for Barrett’s. The selected candidate will join a collegial team of dedicated physicians and staff thriving in a dynamic clinical academic practice.
We Offer
Academic tertiary care in an Esophageal Diseases Section with established multidisciplinary clinics, esophageal endoscopy blocks in a state-of-the art unit, esophageal specific weekly conferences.
State-of-the-art Esophageal Motility Laboratory.
Participation as faculty in an established Advanced Fellowship in Esophageal Diseases.
Appointment to the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine with Academic Rank commensurate with experience.

Required Skills
Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Gastroenterology and be eligible for an Arizona state license.
