Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment, contributing to the successful completion of construction tasks.

Duties

• Operate heavy machinery including loaders, cranes, bulldozers, and concrete mixers to perform various construction tasks.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage on construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in building structures and other construction-related activities as needed.
• Transport materials using tankers or other vehicles as required.
• Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE DIGGING FOUNDATIONS,STORMWATER SYSTEMS, GRADING.
• Proven experience in loader operation, crane operation, and bulldozer operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
• Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functionality and maintenance needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for specific machinery operation are a plus.
