Hologic is hiring: Manufacturing Associate – Biotech in Vacaville

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associates to join our Biotech Production team in Vacaville, CA. You will play a key role in the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API) under strict cGMP conditions. This is a hands-on role involving equipment operation, process monitoring, and documentation in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment following SOPs and cGMP standards.
• Perform clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) procedures.
• Execute production recipes and ensure accurate data entry in both written and electronic formats.
• Conduct basic laboratory tasks such as pH, conductivity testing, and product sampling.
• Handle raw materials, chemicals, and product transfers within production areas.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of equipment and facilities.
• Participate in shift exchanges, meetings, and training sessions as required.
• Maintain compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and all safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or similar) preferred.
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceutical, or laboratory settings preferred.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of GMP / GDP practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Comfortable working with equipment, sanitization processes (CIP/SIP), and basic lab testing
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts schedule)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
