FITTER/WELDER/ASSEMBLER LEVEL AREPORTS TO: MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR
FAB SHOPDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLevel A is the highest level for the Fitter/Welder/Assembler jobcategory. Each Level A person is expected to meet the followingrequirements.&* Perform open table set-ups&* Braze Tig Weld Aluminum work with different materials(Alloys)&* Perform sub-arc welding&* Weld all positions with .045 flux core wire&* Weld with .035 .045 hard wire and 1/16 flux core wire&* Capable of some tig welding&* Fixture set-ups and basic open table set-ups&* Ability to read and understand complex blueprints with weldsymbols and written work orders that accompany every job&* Cut parts from blueprints and detail&* Possess the math skills to calculate angles centerlines andother equations required to accomplish fit and weld tasks&* Be able to use a torch set&* Be able to build girders without help from an experiencedpersons on set-up of girders&* Be able to assemble cranes&* Must be able to fill out daily time slips accurately for laborreporting purposes&* Must clean-up around machine and work area everyday&* Must do routine maintenance as instructed by supervisor&* Responsible for manufacturing parts within the routed timeframe or notifying the supervisor if the work order time and/orsequence of operation on the work order is incorrect
