- Program Start Date: Expected July 2026
- Call Schedule: 1 in 4 call with locums support
- Backup Coverage:
- OB physicians back each other up
- If unavailable, General Surgeon or Midwife provides backup
- Hospital Type: Level I facility (no NICU; transfers higher-risk moms)
- Annual Births: 600
- Annual GYN Surgery Volume: Not specified
- Residency Programs: None
- EMR (Hospital): EPIC
- Anesthesia Coverage: CRNA 24/7 in-house with supervising MD
- General Surgeon Availability: 24/7
- Urologist Availability: Yes
- MFM Support: Provided by Perinatal Center; higher-risk patients transferred out
- Current Team:
- 2 OB physicians (1 potential additional provider starting 2026)
- 1 Certified Nurse Midwife (newer role)
- 2 Nurse Practitioners in clinic
- Board Certification: OB/GYN - Board Certified or Board Eligible (per facility preference)
- State License: Tennessee - Required (or ability to obtain)
- Certifications: BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS - Required during credentialing
- Backup Providers: OB colleagues, general surgeons, or midwives as needed
