Job Summary Work with an experienced, highly skilled, and interdisciplinary team of specialists in BNI’s rapidly expanding adult Neurology Division and the Jan and Tom Lewis Headache Center. Your responsibilities include providing comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting‑edge care to a diverse, high-volume patient population, collaborating with neurologists, nurses, physical therapists, social workers, and psychologists, and teaching medical students, residents, fellows, nurses, and advanced practice providers. You will also contribute to program development and academic activities, and your academic rank will match your qualifications.

Job Specifications

Doctoral education (PhD or PsyD) in an APA-accredited program with a clinical internship from an APA-accredited program.

Eligibility for specialty certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).

Minimum two years of health psychology experience emphasizing neurological populations (preferred).

ABPP Board Certification in Rehabilitation Psychology, Health Psychology, or Clinical Psychology (preferred, required within 5 years of appointment).

Competence in Biofeedback, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with neurological or neurosurgical patient populations.

Program development skills.

Ability to obtain a State of Arizona psychologist license at the time of employment.
