Overview We are working with a mid‑size CPA firm based in North Carolina & South Carolina that is seeking experienced Tax Managers to join the team. The firm works with a variety of industries & clientele, with a focus on real estate, manufacturing, & distribution clients. Locations: Charlotte, NC & Greenville, SC. Schedule: hybrid flexibility after training period.
Responsibilities
5-8 years of tax preparation or reviewing experience in a public accounting or professional services firm is required.
Review of Federal/State Income Corporate/Individual Tax Return, including multi‑state returns.
Tax research for both corporate and individual clients.
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to function well in a team setting and interact with professionals at all levels.
Superior client service focus.
Ability to supervise other seniors and staff while maintaining multiple client engagements and competing priorities.
Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills.
Strong computer skills with general office use software and an ability to adapt to new software applications.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Master’s in accounting preferred.
CPA license in good standing is required.
