Position Overview
Licensed Audiologist needed to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Responsibilities
Review the veteran’s medical records uploaded to the computer portal.
Conduct a Maryland CNC Test and a Puretone Audiometric test during the appointment.
Complete the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal as the medical evidence for the VA.
Review and assess 3–6 Veterans per day on average.
Provide assessments only; do not prescribe medical treatments or devices.
Schedule Part-Time (2 days per week). In-person position with 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales.
Requirements
Au.D. and graduate from an ASHA Accredited school.
Current license as an Audiologist.
Benefits
Pay range: $53–$60 per hour (commensurate with experience).
