TWP is seeing a Warehouse Supervisor that oversees daily operations in our fashion warehouse. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining the quality and organization of apparel and accessories. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with shipping, storing, moving, trans loading, and inventory of products returned from our clients and their partners.
- Train and mentor new stock associates on inventory systems, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of stockroom processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, logistics, etc.) to fulfill inventory requests.
- Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow by working alongside assigned staff.
- Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Advises employees on care of goods received, stored, and shipped; proper use and care of equipment; and related problems.
- Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety; maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.
- Execute tasks as needed in a ‘lead by example’ manner.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, fashion merchandising, or business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years warehouse or operations experience, with supervising a team-preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS & Inventory Management systems
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers
- Possess strong leadership qualities and can galvanize a team around company initiatives
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Ability to analyze business and take business-driving actions
- Ability to stand and walk for majority of a 40-hour work week
- Must be willing to work overtime with short notice
