**The Receptionist greets and welcomes patients and visitors to the clinic, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. They are responsible for managing the front desk responsibilities including maintaining patient flow; appropriately handling phone calls; entering demographics, insurance, and other pertinent information in the Electronic Health Record and other various systems; Full Time
Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all steps necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and in compliance with all clinic and regulatory policies.
+ Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
+ Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
+ Copy/scan patient access related hardcopy materials (e.g. into the correct location in the electronic medical record.
**Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire.
+ Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patient, visitors, and colleagues while performing their job duties.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
