- Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner at the front desk, providing assistance as needed and verifying identification as required by site-specific policies.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials and logging visitor information to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or unusual activity.
- Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide a point of contact for security-related concerns.
- Follow emergency response procedures as outlined in site-specific policies, including assisting with evacuation or shelter-in-place protocols when appropriate.
- Document security-related incidents and prepare written reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
