Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining a positive customer experience. The Delivery Driver will operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, handling loading and unloading tasks as needed.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling equipment
• Ensure accurate delivery of goods according to route schedules and delivery instructions
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and stock organization
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe driving practices throughout the shift

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently
• Warehouse experience is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and material handling
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to delivery schedules
• Physical stamina for long periods of driving, loading/unloading cargo, and walking during routes

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
