Description: Oversee the accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data, support process improvement, new system integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while reporting to the Data & Systems Manager. Job Summary: Holds a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the company's master data. Oversees the creation, maintenance, and data cleansing of master data across SAP master data domains and multiple platforms for both the medical device and pharmaceuticals business. Collaborates with various stakeholders to establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Drives operational efficiencies by blending agility, industry expertise, and a passion for technology into technological innovation and data governance initiatives.
Principal Activities:
- Manages day-to-day data management activities of the Customer Master Data team in coordination with the Team Lead
- Partners with Team Lead and Manager to address process issues, streamline processes, and ensure up-to-date Processes & Procedures
- Assists in establishing data governance standards, ensuring data quality and integrity, and optimizing processes for maintaining customer information
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, establish data quality metrics, and implement data management best practices
- Serves as a backup in pricing and licensing updates, rebate accrual, Anti-Torture regulations, Group Mailbox, and SME portal
- Participates in process improvement initiatives related to data and beyond
- Assists in the design, integration, and implementation of new process flows across departments
- Provides support with ad hoc reports and special projects as required
- Serves as master data SME on all new system integrations or enhancements, ensuring proper documentation, usage, and process impact assessment
- Collaborates with auditors to provide accurate documentation and information in a timely manner
- Responsible for compliance with company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of experience or equivalent work-related experience required
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device knowledge required
- Management experience preferred
- Proficient in data governance, pricing and contracting policy, and procedures
- Experience with SAP and large data sets; expert level in Excel
- Ability to drive process improvements, manage multiple projects, and lead with independence and urgency
- Strong analytical/problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
