Emergency Dispatcher 7-E8 – Intelligence Operations / Detroit Regional Communication Center

Coordinating the deployment of emergency personnel and equipment during crisis situations and routine assignments.
Utilizing interrogation techniques, CPR, and basic first aid.
Performing all functions in a bias‑free manner.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
High‑school completion.
Emergency Dispatcher 7: No specific type or amount of experience required.
Emergency Dispatcher 8: One year of experience equivalent to an Emergency Dispatcher 7.
Special Requirements:
CPR certification may be required.
Applicants must pass the agency‑administered examination testing computer and dispatching skills.
Additional Requirements:
Pre‑employment screening, including a criminal history background check and a fingerprint check.
