JANUS Research Group is currently seeking a Senior Operations Analyst SSO for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8). The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise.
Position Description Provides analytical, operational, and administrative support to the Directorate of Materiel (DOM) leadership. Manages synchronization of taskings, deliverables, and staffing actions across all DOM divisions. Tracks suspense, reviews products for quality and compliance, and supports production of AROC/JROC, SPAR, and POM materials. Coordinates meeting schedules, metrics, and decision briefs for senior leader review. Serves as the central point of contact for DOM reporting, workflow, and SharePoint management.
Relevant Competencies / Skill Levels
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
Must have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of how the HQDA staff works and how the various organizations and components with the HQDA secretariat and staff interact
