You Will
Provide primary and family evidence‑based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow‑up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routing examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinate with other health‑care professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
Encourage patients to become active participants in their own health‑care and well‑being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management.
Required Qualifications
Active DC Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate license in good standing.
Provide holistic, evidence‑based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients; including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.
Order and administer immunizations and injections (including but not limited to COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence‑based vaccine counseling and education.
Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
Depending on the market, proficiency in both speaking and writing additional languages (including but not limited to Spanish).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an AED.
Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Education
Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
Or, in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent health‑related master’s degree or experience plus Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role.
Preferred Qualifications
EPIC experience preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate.
Experience in family medicine or primary care practice preferred.
Anticipated Weekly Hours 32.5
Time Type Full time
Pay Range $50.22 – $108.15 per hour (base hourly rate or full‑time salary; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors. Eligible for bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program.)
