Job Description Baker Tilly Wealth Advisors is offering a unique opportunity to join our growing RIA as a Financial Advisor. The position involves working closely with advisors, associate advisors, and client‑service associates to empower clients to secure better financial futures by strategically aligning tax, planning, and investment needs and tactically managing their assets. The role includes competitive base pay and a business‑development bonus, with an immediate opportunity to serve clients and contribute to firm growth.
Responsibilities
Primarily serve current clients while sourcing, onboarding, and servicing new clients within a team environment.
Meet regularly with clients to review financial plans, current and future circumstances, needs, objectives, and investment performance.
Impact firm growth through Business Development Goals and active pursuit of new business.
Drive the financial‑planning process for clients, including review and evaluation of income, assets, tax exposure, estate plan, investment portfolio, and insurance; help clients establish and prioritize financial goals and timelines.
Actively seek referrals from current clients and professional and personal networks.
Mentor and support the development of associate advisors and client‑service associates on the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of wealth‑management and investment‑advisory experience in a public‑accounting or professional‑services firm; insurance knowledge preferred.
CFP preferred; CFA acceptable.
Excellent communication, organization, and client‑relationship skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines, budgets, and revision expectations.
Ability to function effectively as part of a regional team.
Strategic critical thinking, initiative, and problem‑solving abilities.
Capability to build beneficial relationships in appropriate community, business, and professional organizations.
Poise and diplomacy when interacting with clients and company personnel.
The compensation range for this role is $115,000 to $182,000. Actual compensation is influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
