Mechanical Design Engineer / Robotics Engineer
Apply to join Akkodis Group Nordics as a Mechanical Design Engineer / Robotics Engineer. The role is a contract position based in Fremont, CA, focused on developing an autonomous delivery robot platform.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manufacture components for an autonomous delivery robot platform.
Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Technician teams to prepare for product launch.
Manage day‑to‑day production and address quality issues on the frontline.
Ensure component traceability for product shipments and maintain production documentation.
Interface with Design‑Responsible Engineers (DREs) to bring products to reality.
Scale and sustain manufacturing of next‑generation delivery robots.
Set up and manage quality control processes to ensure product consistency and reliability.
Desired Qualifications
BS or MS in Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in robotics, micro‑mobility, autonomous vehicles, or automotive.
Experience supporting production lines with operators and technicians.
Strong communication, documentation, and quality control setup experience.
Pay Details Rate Range:
$45/hour to $48/hour (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).
