We are looking for a defense litigation attorney with 2-6 years of experience to join one of the best firms in the country that is consistently ranked one of the top law firms in America. The position is a hybrid role with 2 days in office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
Independently manage a litigation caseload.
Conduct depositions.
Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
Review and analyze discovery requests.
Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
Trial preparation and support.
Maintain accurate time records.
Candidate Requirements
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Defense Litigation.
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
Experience with motion practice and depositions.
Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
Capable of independent work.
Work in an organized and efficient manner.
Superior research and writing skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to analyze complex matters.
