Employed Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity in Metro-Detroit Tenet Healthcare along with Detroit Medical Center is actively seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an existing group of Cardiologists who provide cardiology services to patients of the Detroit Medical Center health system in Metro Detroit, Michigan. This is a full-time, employed opportunity with the Detroit Medical Group/Tenet Physician Resources.

What to Expect / Key Responsibilities

Full-time Employed & Benefitted Position

Position provides services primarily to Sinai Grace Hospital, with additional coverage for Harper Hospital and Detroit Receiving Hospital (Adult Central Campus)

Monday-Friday Schedule (Outpatient clinic 1-2 days per week. OR time based on case load and consults from ER.)

Weekends and holiday call coverage are shared with the group of two cardio thoracic surgeons (Level 1 Trauma Thoracic coverage)

Required inpatient rounding including the ICU units.

2 CT surgical PAs are available to assist with rounding and call.
