RN Clinical Supervisor – NICU
Join Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – a 136‑bed community hospital in Washington, DC offering a full‑service trauma center and advanced neonatal services.
Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical practices in the NICU, ensuring efficient staffing, smooth patient flow, safety, service excellence, and optimal resource utilization. Provide patient care that reflects competence, compassion, and efficiency tailored to the specific age groups we serve. Offer immediate feedback to staff, support process improvement initiatives, lead efforts to boost project outcomes, and facilitate employee engagement through shared governance activities.
Qualifications
2‑year charge nurse experience
3 years clinical nursing experience preferred
Professional experience demonstrating ability to understand the clinical practice environment
Current RN license in District of Columbia required
PALS, ACLS, NRP certification required
Skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities
Ability to provide care that is respectful of and responsive to the patient values in clinical decision making
