Denver Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as Medical Director of Urgent Care, overseeing one or more high-impact urgent care clinics within our integrated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and safety-net hospital system. This role may include leadership at Peña Urgent Care, which serves a significant pediatric population.

This is an ideal role for an Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrician who wants to combine clinical practice, team leadership, and academic engagement—while making a meaningful difference for Denver’s most diverse and underserved communities.

Why Denver Health? At Denver Health, mission and medicine intersect. As Colorado’s primary safety-net health system, we care for everyone, regardless of ability to pay, while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, education, and innovation.

You’ll join a large, collaborative physician group and work alongside engaged clinical and operational leaders who value teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement.

The Role As Medical Director, you’ll balance hands‑on clinical care with clinic leadership and operational oversight, partnering closely with the Division Chief of Urgent Care.
