Host and Cashier
The Host and Cashier is responsible for creating a smooth and positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing seating and processing payments efficiently.
Minimum/Preferred Requirements:
- One or more years previous host/cashier experience is preferred.
- Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Sincerely greets and thanks each guest.
- Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.
- Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately.
- Seats guests in the proper order of arrival.
- Accurate use of the dine-time seating system.
- Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant.
- Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.
- Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
- Completes all side work requirements.
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.
