Job Description Job Description We are currently looking for experienced and professional forklift operators to join our team in York, PA! We operate a team oriented fast paced cross docking facility for our Fortune 50 customer. Pay: Forklift: 21.50 per hour starting pay Overtime pay after 40 hours. Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays if needed. Duties: - Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload semi -trucks. - Operate handheld scanners or other electronic devices. - Inspect and maintain the forklift and other warehouse duties. - Follow safety procedures, company policy and OSHA guidelines. - Use straps and airbags to secure freight inside trailers. Qualifications: Be dependable and show up to work. - Previous experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced team oriented environment. - LTL forklift experience is preferred. - MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE, NO EXCEPTIONS. THERE WILL BE NO ON THE JOB TRAINING TO TEACH FORKLIFT OPERATION, YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OPERATING A FORKLIFT IN A WAREHOUSE. - Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed. - Familiarity with pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment. - All applicants must pass a 10 YEAR background check & drug screen to be considered for employment.
