Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including transfers and exercises. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisor. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. Follow care plans and protocols to ensure consistent and effective care. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred. Previous experience in a caregiving role is an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license may be required. Working Conditions: Work may involve exposure to various health conditions and environments. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to handle stressful situations and respond to emergencies calmly.
