Key Responsibilities Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling. Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and work instructions. Collaborate with R&D and Production teams on new product introduction (NPI) projects. Manage capital equipment projects from specification to installation and validation. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process optimization and efficiency. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture design. Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for production issues. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R). Experience with robotics programming or advanced automation platforms. Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Rockwell FactoryTalk).
