$105,000-$115,000/annually

Catering Director

to lead an elite catering and events program for a distinguished corporate client in Redwood City. This is a unique opportunity to curate exceptional experiences for executive leaders and guests in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. As Catering Director, you will be the driving force behind all catering and special events—overseeing flawless execution, building trusted client relationships, and inspiring a high-performing team dedicated to elevated service standards. What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee all internal and external catering and event operations, ensuring every detail reflects excellence

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and delivering a seamless, white-glove experience for executives and stakeholders

Develop and execute a comprehensive catering marketing and events strategy, including creative menu development and customized event planning

Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and mentor catering staff, with a strong focus on service excellence, presentation, and professional growth

Actively coach and develop the team on in-service techniques, luxury presentation standards, policies, and procedures

Ensure operational success of all catering functions, including food quality, labor management, food and beverage cost control, logistics, transportation, setup, execution, and breakdown

Maintain impeccable standards for high-touch, high-profile events, from intimate executive meetings to large-scale corporate functions

Job Summary What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in

Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts , or a related field preferred

Minimum

5 years of hospitality experience , including

2+ years in a management role Catering leadership experience in

Business & Industry (B&I), corporate dining, luxury catering, or fine dining

strongly preferred

Proven expertise in menu planning, event booking, pricing and costing, contract management, and sourcing temporary labor and rental equipment

Strong operational acumen with the ability to supervise food preparation, service, and event cleanup with precision

A polished, professional presence with exceptional communication and organizational skills

A passion for creating memorable experiences through food, service, and attention to detail
