We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented SEO Analyst to join a dynamic eCommerce team. This role focuses on improving organic search visibility and driving traffic across multiple devices. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for optimizing content and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Build, format, and upload content in CMS, ensuring adherence to SEO best practices
- Create and update SEO-friendly content using AI tools and keyword research
- Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers, URLs, and on-page elements
- Generate and maintain SEO performance reports using analytics platforms
- Conduct competitive analysis and research beauty trends
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to align content with business goals
- Support technical SEO initiatives and assist with related projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Optimization, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance reporting
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics (or similar), and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO tools (e.g., Conductor, BrightEdge, SEMrush, seoClarity), and ability to optimize content for search engines and users
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable collaborating across teams (creative, merchandising, IT)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with AI content tools (e.g., Jasper) and job ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com)
- Interest in beauty, fashion, or related industries
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization or UX principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Pay range and compensation package
Duration: 6 months
Hours per Week: Approximately 40 hours
Location Requirements: Hybrid in Bolingbrook, IL
