Specialty Group of Orthopedic Surgeons seeks to add a full‑time experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant. This Physician Assistant will support a Spine Fellowship‑trained Orthopedic Surgeon in the clinic and in the OR. The Physician Assistant will run their own clinic and see new and follow‑up patients. This practice consists of a mix of spine with occasional general orthopedic cases.
Responsibilities
Pre‑ and post‑operative history & physical examination
First assist during surgeries
Perform injections
Write scripts
Remove casts and pins
Consultation and patient evaluation and education
Review lab results in a clinic setting
They are located in a state‑of‑the‑art facility that has EMR, Digital X‑Ray and onsite PT / OT. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with minimal call, weekends or evenings.
Qualifications
NCCPA‑Certified
Experience in orthopedics
Location The offices are within 25 minutes of Hoboken, New Jersey, offering easy access to culture, arts, great restaurants and universities.
