11 / 11 - 11 / 12

12 / 9 - 12 / 10

Schedule Days: Clinic / Hospital Friday after 5 PM, Saturday and Sunday (and Monday for holiday weekends)

Schedule Hours: Hospital is open 24 / 7; nephrology inpatient coverage is 24 / 7.

Responsibilities Evaluation of 10‑20 patients per shift, including new renal consults and daily renal progress notes.

Provide call coverage on Friday after 5 PM, Saturday and Sunday (and Monday for holiday weekends). Call starts Friday after 5 PM and ends Monday 8 AM (or Tuesday 8 AM for long weekends).

Accept phone consults (usually fewer than 10).

Perform rounding on Saturday and Sunday (and Monday for long weekends).

Qualifications Board certification in Internal Medicine or Nephrology (BC). Adult patient care.

Patient Service Support staff available: Patient Service Specialist (PSS).

EMR System Epic.
