This position is for consistent weekend coverage.
Our client is seeking a dedicated Associate Optometrist to join our team. As an Associate Optometrist with us, you will have the opportunity to work one on one with patients, offering a wide variety of eye care services while negotiating what is best and fair for both parties.
Daily Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye exams Perform visual field testing and autorefraction Diagnose and treat ocular diseases Prescribe and fit contact lenses Provide pre‑testing and refraction services Required Skills
Doctor of Optometry degree Experience in eye care and optometry Proficiency in visual field testing and autorefraction Knowledge of ocular diseases and treatment options Ability to perform pre‑testing and refraction services Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with Optomap and optical coherence tomography Knowledge of diabetic retinopathy and cataract treatment Experience with patient recall and vision therapy Familiarity with LASIK, low vision, and postoperative care Understanding of ophthalmology practices To be considered for this position, you need to be a licensed optometrist, in the process of acquiring your license, or currently enrolled as a fourth‑year student in an accredited School of Optometry.
