We are looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver exceptional, high-quality, patient-centered care with compassion, dedication and collaboration ensuring every hospitalized patient receives safe and timely care.
We are looking for someone who is ready to join our dynamic hospital medicine team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, academic environment involving medical students, residents and fellows who are committed to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform histories and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
Maintain documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and coordination of care
Opportunity Details
Swing Shift 12:00 PM (Noon)-12:00 AM (Midnight)
Shift differential of $125 per shift
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and pharmacy plans
401K Plan with 4% match after one year
CME days plus allowance
Paid malpractice
Requirements
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Acute Care, Cardiology, GI and/or Inpatient experience is highly desirable
Current State of Arizona license or in process
DEA with prescriptive authority required
Open to New Graduates with Related Experience
Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
