AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are seeking to expand their well‑rounded Neurosurgery program. We are looking for a board certified/board eligible
Neurosurgeon
to join our group of four experienced surgeons and help enhance the program throughout the East Florida Division.
Responsibilities
Perform full scope Neurosurgery
Mix of Craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, endoscopic
Open surgery, microsurgery, peripheral nerve
Functional Neurosurgery
Treat movement disorders, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
Dedicated Neuro ICU with Epilepsy monitoring
Stereotactic surgery
Four surgeons in the practice
APP support both inpatient and outpatient, including weekends and night coverage
Helping to advance AdventHealth into a world class Neurosurgery destination
Practice and Location The primary location will be at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a soon‑to‑be 450+ bed campus with additional operating rooms planned for 2026. The community offers beautiful beaches, scenic waterways, major airports, shopping, excellent schools, and distance to Jacksonville and Orlando.

Requirements
Board Certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery through ABNS
Practice Description This opportunity includes competitive compensation, call coverage, malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403(b) retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. The practice model and experience provide the opportunity to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.
Hospital Description Physician will be affiliated with AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a 362‑bed hospital equipped with the latest technology and advanced care centers, offering award‑winning services including Neurosurgery, Open Heart, Bariatric Surgery, and a Comprehensive Cancer Center. The hospital is accredited by CARF, The Joint Commission, the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer, and holds a 4‑Star CMS rating.
