We areseeking a Board-Certified Neonatology Physician for locum tenens coverage inWichita Falls, Texas. This opportunity offers 24-hour coverage consisting ofin-house rounding with call from home or hotel. The neonatologist will providecare in a Level II NICU and newborn nursery, working collaboratively with askilled multidisciplinary team.
Schedule& Coverage
- Shift Type: 24-hour shifts (rounding plus call from home/hotel)
- Coverage Start: ASAP
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- On-Call: Yes
PracticeSetting & Responsibilities
- Provide neonatal care in a Level II NICU and newborn nursery
- Manage premature and moderately ill newborns
- Collaborate with nursing, respiratory therapy, and pediatric teams to deliver comprehensive neonatal care
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled
Requirements
- Board Certified in Neonatology
- Active Texas medical license required
- Must be clinically active within the past year (cannot accept providers inactive for 1 year or more)
