We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant to configure, implement, and support SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of discrete and process manufacturing processes and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business operations and ensure compliance with ITAR requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement SAP PP and QM modules to support manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and planning teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Optimize business processes related to production planning and quality management.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and provide post-go-live support.
  • Integrate SAP PP/QM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and WM.
  • Manage master data setup including BOMs, routings, inspection plans, and work centers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues related to PP and QM.
  • Support system rollouts, upgrades, and patch management activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be ITAR compliant.
  • Strong expertise in SAP PP and QM modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of discrete and process manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with Master Data Management, MRP, Production Orders, Process Orders, Inspection Lots, Notifications, and Quality Certificates.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize production and quality workflows.
  • Experience in developing functional specifications and supporting custom developments.
  • Proficiency in SAP integration across modules (MM, SD, WM).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP Process Modeling tools such as Signavio, ARIS, or Visio.
  • Knowledge of Kanban, Public Cloud SCPM, and Repetitive Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments.
